Password Reset


 

A user is prompted anytime an unregistered email/user name and/or a wrong password is entered.  The alert states “The username or password is incorrect.   To recover your forgotten password, click on the “Forgot Password” link on the Log-in Screen.  You are prompted to verify the email address used to sign into VTrack.  Enter in the email address associated with the account and click the Continue Button.  An email is sent to you from donotreply@velsol.com and the subject reads “VTrack Password Request.”

 

The email includes a “Click to reset password” link, click on it to be directed to the Reset Password Page.  Enter the email address associated to the account, new password, and then confirm the new password.  Keep in mind a valid password must be a minimum of six (6) characters and contain one (1) UPPER and lower case letter, along with one (1) number and a special character (i.e.: User1!).  Click the Reset Button to reset your password.  

 

An on-screen message box appears “Your Password has been reset,” select the “click here to log in” link below the message to be directed back to the Login Screen to begin using your new password.
